The back splat is detected with the image of the Chinese Charterer “Fu” representing blessing done in open relief. the supporting floor stretchers between the legs are arranged in the “Pau Pau Gao“ style which is a pun foe social ascension wishing the person who used the chair will ascend to a high social status.
