This set of partition consists of three parts- one horizontal panel with three vertical panels. These three panels joint together using mortises and tenons. The horizontal panel is made up of two parts. The upper part is decorated with relief carvings and the lower part is decorated with open carvings. The relief carvings are enclosed in beaded rectangular blocks; 5 horizontal blocks interspersed with 4 smaller vertical blocks. The themes of the relief carving include images of auspicious animals, angular scrolls and floral motifs.
the open carved part is decorated with birds that symbolize prosperity and wealth, images of angular scrolls, good-wishes cloud, begonias, scrolls. The vertical posts that come down from both side of the horizontal panel are decorated with floral motifs and the end carved to resemble a trapezoid.
The vertical panels are also divided into two main sections. The upper section is long and contains two open carved rectangles interspersed with one open carved square. In between the open carvings are the images of the angular scroll and flower. The low section is decorated with two bands of open cravings with a carved square in the middle. The carved square has a carved medallion surrendered by open cared floral decorations.
