A red lacquered wooden box.

This box is representative of the basic form of small Chinese chests. The box is plain without any decorations except the beading along the four edges of the lid. There is a good-wish- cloud motif metal face plate with a cloud motif metal hasp on the front.

On the both sides of the box, there is a set of three floral shaped metal plates with a metal handle.
