A large wooden panel with intricate carvings. 

This square panel has 6 layers of carvings arranged symmetrically. The first layer forms a square enclosing 5 circular bands of carvings. 

The 4 borders of the square are all decorated the same with each side containing 4 rectangular blocks of relief carvings of the images of swastika and symbol of longevity. Within the square, carvings are arranged in a circular pattern. The outer circular band is composed of carvings of birds, floral  and good wishes motifs interspersed with 4 open carved medallions  and 2 open carved rectangular blocks symmetrically laid out.  The next circular band is made of 4 open carved fan shaped blocks, 4 carved rectangular blocks with each block interspersed with carvings of three  little plum blossoms done in relief style. The next band of carvings contains 4 images of relief carved double angular scrolls interspersed with 4 images of roundels of circular lines also done in relief. 

The innermost circles are 4 relief carved Ruyi cloud motifs encircling a open carved medallion of floral motifs and a dragon head.
